Rogers Ignite WiFi Hub App Gets New Profile and Security Features

Rogers has announced its Ignite WiFi Hub app has gained new features, offering more control over devices and also network security as well for internet customers.

Active Time Details now show active summary details for each profile you create, showing the time spent on apps or websites connected to the home Wi-Fi network. This feature is targeting parents to manage how much time their kids spend online, for example.

Also new is Advanced Security, which actively monitors Wi-Fi and automatically blocks suspicious activity in real-time, while providing notifications as potential threats are detected.

Other existing features of the WiFi Hub app:

• Personalize your connection: Create customized profiles for everyone in the home, including family and guests.
• Stay in the know: See who’s online at home at a glance.
• Never forget the WiFi password: Quickly check or update the password from anywhere.
• Optimize your WiFi: Restart the modem and access tools to test and troubleshoot your WiFi right from the mobile app.

Rogers says the Ignite WiFi Hub app updates are available now for iOS and Android, for customers using Ignite Internet packages and bundles using the WiFi Gateway modem.
