iPhone SE 3 to Reportedly Feature A15 Chip with 5G, Sport Same Design
According to a new report by Japanese blog Macotakara, Apple’s next-generation ‘iPhone SE 3’ will feature the A15 processor currently found in the iPhone 13 lineup, and will also have 5G capabilities.
The report, however, claims that its design will remain unchanged from the current model, and will sport the same 4.7-inch LCD display and Touch ID Home Button.
It must be noted that veteran Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously said that Apple is working on a larger 5.5-inch version of the iPhone SE.
“This is the same as what was previously reported by Nikkei Asia about the iPhone SE (3rd generation), which will continue to use the 4.7-inch Retina HD display and Touch ID, and is likely to be an updated model with the same A15 Bionic chip and Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem chip as the iPhone 13 series.”
The source adds that the iPhone SE 3 will go into production sometime in December, in time for a Spring 2022 launch.
