Amazon Canada has launched its second-generation Echo Buds in Canada, now available for pre-order in black or white at $154.99 CAD, shipping on October 21, 2021.
Echo Buds, according to Amazon, “feature premium audio architecture for crisp, balanced sound, custom-designed Active Noise Cancellation technology, wireless charging capabilities, microphones for strong call quality, and hands-free access to Alexa,” detailed a spokesperson.
The wireless earbuds are also sweatproof featuring IPX water resistance, feature up to 5 hours of battery life with ANC (6.5 hours with ANC off and Alexa off), and up to 15 hours with the charging case (19.5 hours with ANC off and Alexa off). Quick charge allows up to 2 hours of listening with a 15-minute charge, while included are 4 sizes of ear tips and 2 sizes of wing tips.
“We love hearing feedback from customers about how they use Alexa throughout their day—whether that’s listening to music, dropping in on a loved one, or adding items to their to-do list,” said Celine Lee, Alexa Canada Country Manager, in an issued statement. “We hope Echo Buds give customers a new, easy way to bring Alexa with them throughout their day.”
Previously, Echo Buds had launched first in the United States back in May of this year, but now they are available in Canada. The company’s product listing page compares Echo Buds against Apple’s AirPods Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, Apple AirPods and also Bose Sport Earbuds.
