Apple’s holiday return policy has gone live for the 2021 shopping season (via MacRumors).

The company’s Returns & Refund website now says “items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 1, 2021 and December 25, 2021, may be returned through January 8, 2022.”

Apple says “all purchases made after December 25, 2021 are subject to the Standard Return Policy,” which is two weeks.

The extended return policy is for customers buying gifts early for the holidays, so they can return them later into the New Year. Some also leverage this policy for an “extended trial” of products that may need more than 14 days to test out (you know, like the Polishing Cloth…).

Apple’s website is also encouraging customers to “shop early for the best selection of holiday favourites.” During the company’s recent Q4 earnings call, they cited chip shortages would result in a decline of $6 billion worth of product sales.
