Walmart’s wireless kiosk is offering up a $45/15GB plan from Koodo, Virgin Plus and Fido, along with a $40/20GB plan from Freedom Mobile for bring your own device.
According to RFD, the deal offers $10 off the $55/15GB plan for 15 months, taking it down to $45/15GB for new activations or upgrades on plans $55 or higher.
The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide calling, international SMS/MMS, plus 1,000 international minutes to select countries. There’s also a credit for the $50 connection fee.
Also available is a $40/20GB plan from Freedom Mobile at Walmart. This is actually the $55/20GB plan with $5 off for Digital Discount and $10 off for 15 months, taking it to $40/20GB.
The plan includes unlimited Canada-wide calling, international SMS/MMS, caller ID, voicemail and a $45 connection fee credit. A bonus includes a $50 Walmart gift card for activations on plans $30 or higher.
On a side note—if you get the Virgin Plus $45/15GB plan from The Source, it also possibly includes a $100 gift card depending on location, notes a separate RFD thread.
There’s no word on when these promo plans expire, but it’s best to check with your local Walmart.
