The Taiwanese publication claims that Apple suppliers have started shipping individual components to larger manufacturers for final assembly of the new 27-inch iMac.

The shipments are also said to be in limited quantities. Beyond this, no further information has been shared.

Based on earlier leaks and reports, the new 27-inch iMac is expected to feature a similar design as the 24-inch iMac that debuted earlier this year albeit with a darker colour scheme. It will likely be powered by the same M1 Pro and M1 Max chips found in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple’s current generation 27-inch iMac still ships with an Intel-based processor.
