Tesla 2021 Holiday Software Update Includes Sonic the Hedgehog and More

As noted by the folks over at Tesla North, Tesla has just started rolling out its 2021.44.25 holiday software update, which includes a new Light Show feature, customizable App Launcher, TikTok, Sonic the Hedgehog, and much more.

Here’s all that is included in Tesla’s 2021 holiday software update:

  • Light Show – New Toybox Feature Watch your Tesla dance to a choreographed light show any time of the year
  • Customizable App Launcher Drag/drop your favourite apps to any position along the bottom menu bar for easy access.
  • Simplified Controls The display has been simplified to focus on navigation, media and the most common primary controls
  • Blind Spot Camera You can now automatically see a live camera view of your blind spot when you activate the turn signal
  • Edit Waypoints Easily reorder or add multiple destinations to your route with updated arrival times
  • TikTok You can now watch TikTok from the touchscreen in Tesla Theatre
  • Sonic the Hedgehog Jump into the original Sonic the Hedgehog!
  • The Battle of Polytopia – Multiplayer Support Play with friends using new multiplayer mode
  • Sudoku Fill every square and enjoy this classic logic puzzle game
  • Cold Weather Improvements You can now precondition the cabin from the Tesla app when your battery is at a lower state of charge
  • Automatic Seat Heaters 1st row seat heaters now automatically regulate seat temperature based on the cabin environment and the climate control set temperature
  • Manage Dashcam Clips Easily delete all dashcam clips right from the touchscreen
  • Dark Mode New dark mode theme under Controls > Appearance
  • Hide Map Details Simplify your navigation app and hide map details by tapping the pin button on the map.
