Chipolo announced last week its upcoming wallet finder at CES 2022, the CARD Spot, will be powered by Apple’s Find My network, essentially fitting an AirTag into your wallet.
The CARD Spot is IPX5 water resistant and has battery life of up to two years, and has dimensions of 85.1 mm x 53.6 mm x 2.4 mm, nearly as thin as your bank card, to fit into any wallet.
Chipolo says their renewal program for registered users means after two years, they will receive an email with a 50% discount towards a new product. Once purchased, they’ll get a pre-paid envelope to send back their old Chipolo item for recycling.
Users will be able to located the CARD Spot using Apple’s Find My app, plus also play a 105db sound from the card, and also activate Lost Mode, which shows a custom message for those that find your wallet, to allow them to return it.

The company also has its regular Chipolo Wallet Finder, which is similar to the Tile Slim wallet tracker. But the CARD Spot will leverage Apple’s Find My network, adding in hundreds of millions of iPhones to help find your lost wallet. We’ll have more on the CARD Spot soon, stay tuned.
