Other colours on sale include Sky Blue at $696 (save $82; 11%); Pink at $743 (save $35; 5%); and Silver and Green at $750 (save $29).
AirPods Max wireless headphones include Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes, plus easily connect to all your iCloud devices. They are excellent headphones to watch shows and movies on Apple TV 4K with its Spatial Audio support.

Yep, $589 was the lowest price I’ve saw for these as well.
The AirPods Max is on sale almost all the time at this price and its still way too expensive. I’ll consider buying one when they’ll be around $500 and even then I’ll just begin to think about buying it.
