Apple has released two software updates for Apple TV and HomePod and HomePod mini users on Wednesday.
Now available for download is tvOS 15.5.1 for Apple TV and 15.5.1 for HomePod.
According to the release notes, the update “addresses an issue where music could stop playing after a short time.” We’ve experienced this issue with our original HomePod before so it’s good to see this is being fixed.
You can update your Apple TV by going to Settings, then System > Software Updates and selecting Update Software.
To update your HomePod or HomePod mini, open the Home app. Next, select Home (the icon in the upper left corner), then Home Settings > Software Update.
