SiriusXM recently launched a free trial for in-car listening, that started May 26 and goes until June 6, offering over 100 channels of ad-free music, talk radio, news and more. According to the company, no credit card is required for the free trial.
The streaming satellite music and radio service supports Apple CarPlay. All you need to do is install the SiriusXM app on your mobile device.
Also, for SiriusXM plans right now, a promo is offering up to 6 months free of Apple Music. This applies to the In-Car + SXM app and SXM app plans. This promo expires on July 31, 2022. The fine print says existing subscribers of Apple One are not eligible.

Before you go and sign up for any SiriusXM trails where credit card is required – just be aware that it’s very difficult, almost impossible to cancel their service. I got caught in the trap where we tried to cancel, on hold forever, try to talk you out then transferring to someone else to actually cancel, calls drop… no way to cancel online. It was a lot of frustration to cancel the service.
In US they provide an easy way to cancel or pause service online through your account but as of 2021 there is no such thing in Canada… you got to call and go through their hoops.
I’d love ability to use satellite radio for our summer road trips but its’ useless to me rest of the year… them making it difficult to manage your subscription is why i’ll never give them a dollar!
