Home Trust Visa Now Supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay

For those with Visa cards from Home Trust, you can now add them to mobile wallets including Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
Home Trust emailed customers on Monday about the news, according to iPhone in Canada reader Steven, who was able to confirm it was working as of today. Apple has yet to update its Apple Pay website to list Home Trust as a participating bank with Apple Pay.
The Home Trust Preferred Visa, Equityline Visa and Secured Visa all support Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.
The Toronto-based financial institution said mobile wallet support allows customers to pay faster and securely with their mobile devices.
Apple Pay is now supported in Canada by over 102 banks and credit unions.

Home Trust was good about this, better late than never. I received an email this morning and adding it to my Wallet.
first time hearing about home trust
Home Trust is a decent free Visa card if you need to buy anything not in CAD as it doesn’t add an extra FX fee like most other credit cards.
I didn’t even know we had enough banks in the country to be this far behind on enabling Apple Pay. 7 YEARS behind! Wow! Just wow!
