Seven NES Games Drop on Nintendo Switch Online for July 2024

Starting July off with a bang, seven new classic NES games have arrived on Nintendo Switch Online. Each game is available to active members of the monthly subscription.
Announced by Nintendo, this month’s Nintendo Switch Online additions include Urban Champion, Golf, Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Mach Rider, The Mystery of Atlantis, Cobra Triangle and Solar Jetman. Each of these games can now be accessed via the on-console app.
The latest batch of games includes some pretty recognizable games mixed with some more obscure titles. One of the immediate standouts is Golf which became one of the best-selling sports games for NES.
Cobra Triangle and Solar Jetman are two lesser-known titles from the famed studio Rare. Before making its big splash with Battletoads and later Banjo-Kazooie, Rare developed 1989’s Cobra Triangle and 1990’s Solar Jetman. This is yet another example of Nintendo’s continued support of highlighting Rare’s games on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
In other Nintendo Switch Online news, Nintendo has added additional content to F-Zero 99. Subscribers can now access new Star Rivals, Festival tracks, expanded Team Battles, new achievements, weekend events, and emotes.
An annual subscription to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is available for $63.99 in Canada. Additionally, Nintendo offers a 12-month Family Membership, including up to eight accounts, for $99.99.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack provides subscribers access to a collection of Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, NES, and SNES titles. The subscription service includes premium pieces of DLC. For example, subscribers gain access to Animal Crossing: New Horizon‘s Happy Home Paradise content and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.
