Google Nest Thermostat on Sale for 50% Off

Google’s Nest Learning Thermostat is on sale right now for 50% off, down to $164.96 (save $165.03) at The Source. This is a decent deal for this smart thermostat despite first debuting in 2015. It’s showing as out of stock online but select stores have stock. It’s also on sale for the same price at Home Depot, says RFD.
This Nest thermostat is still selling for $274 on Amazon.ca.
For starters, this 3rd-gen Learning Thermostat still works with the Nest app, Google Home and a web browser, instead of being forced over to only the Google Home app like the newer 4th-gen. This version of the Nest Thermostat also supports Amazon Alexa voice integration, whereas its successor requires a Google Nest Hub for voice commands.
The Google Nest Learning Thermostat features a 1.75-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320×320. It includes an Auto Schedule function that learns your preferred temperatures and programs itself accordingly. The Auto Away feature helps conserve energy by lowering the temperature when no one is home. The thermostat is Wi-Fi enabled for easy connectivity. Also, the Nest Leaf icon appears when you select an energy-saving temperature. It also comes with a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery.
This sale on the Google Nest Learning Thermostat goes until July 31, 2024.
