Starlink Promo Offers $99 Hardware Kit in Canada, If You’re Lucky

SpaceX has launched a new Starlink promotion in Canada, which offers its hardware dish for $99, saving you 80% off, or $400 compared to the regular price of $499 (via Tesla North).
This promo is only available in select provinces and didn’t apply in our area, but the $299 refurbished dish price remains. Starlink monthly service still costs $140 per month for unlimited high speed internet.
Starlink looks to compete against telecoms in rural areas, where internet is slow and expensive. SpaceX says you can order Starlink in about 2 minutes on its website. You do need to pay for shipping for the Starlink dish to arrive at your home.
Starlink is set up from the company’s mobile app. All you have to do is plug in the satellite dish and hardware and ensure the dish has a clear view of the sky. You’ll then get download speeds around 200 Mbps, letting you take video calls, watch streaming services, game online and take video calls.
Back in June, a Starlink promo offered hardware for $199 in select provinces. This latest promo takes it down even further to $99, which looks to entice those in select rural areas to give the service a try. Let us know what area you’re in and seeing this $99 Starlink promo, after checking the company’s website.

Who's getting this 99$ deal?
I already have the dish set up, but find $140/m just too much. Service was great but too expensive and the 5g alternative came available. Yeah, streaming is throttled, but Starlink wasn't worth $90 more. Will probably resubscribe when prices drop significantly.
