Nintendo is launching a new alarm clock for fans, called Sound Clock: Alarmo.

This interactive alarm clock lets you start your day with scenes and sounds from popular Nintendo games like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, and Ring Fit Adventure. It’s set to hit retail stores in early 2025 for $129.99 in Canada.

But…for those who want to grab it early, members of Nintendo Switch Online in the U.S. and Canada can buy it now through the My Nintendo Store.

The alarm clock has a big white confirm button and dial on top, a back button, notification button, 2.8” LCD screen, motion sensor and brightness sensor. There’s a built-in speaker and it is powered by USB-C with a power adapter (AC adapter not included).

Nintendo says the alarm clock is compatible with twin to king-sized beds and it should be placed facing the centre of the bed, no higher than 8-inches above the sleeper.

The alarm clock has a motion sensor that lets you snooze it by simply waving your hand and stops ringing when you get out of bed. You can choose from 35 different scenes inspired by the featured games to make waking up more fun and interactive. Depending on your selection, you can start your day with sounds from the Mushroom Kingdom, the calming landscapes of Hyrule, or even the energetic world of Splatoon’s Inklings.

Check out the Zelda Breath of the Wild skin for Alarmo below. This will make it fun for your kid to go to bed and wake up (parents are likely ready to fork over the cash for this thing):

Alarmo also comes with features like tracking how much you move during sleep, an hourly chime, and different alarm modes, such as Steady Mode, which gradually intensifies, and Gentle Mode, which maintains a consistent sound level. There’s even a traditional Button Mode for those who prefer a standard snooze button. Plus, if you like to unwind before bed, you can set Alarmo to play relaxing sounds.

Nintendo Switch Online members can link their accounts to download new scenes from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons when they become available.

While the clock is currently limited to members online or at the Nintendo New York store, it will be more widely available in 2025, if you’re ready to drop $129 for the alarm clock.
