Spotify is rolling out a new feature today allowing users to design their own playlist cover art, giving playlists a more personal touch, explained the company in an email to iPhone in Canada.

With over 8 billion playlists created globally, Spotify users will now be able to customize covers with text, background colours, stickers, gradients, and personal images, customizing the look to match their music preferences.

As part of the launch, Spotify teamed up with artists like Clairo, Jamie xx, and Arlo Parks, along with renowned designers such as Adrian Hernandez (designer of Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti) and Cey Adams (known for work with The Notorious B.I.G. and Beastie Boys).

The new feature, currently in beta, will be available to English-speaking users across 65 markets–including Canada. To access it, users can open the Spotify mobile app, select a playlist they created (or create a new one), tap the context menu (the three dots), and choose “Create Cover Art.” From there, users can add text, images, and stickers to customize the playlist. Boom, that’s it.

Once finished, the updated cover art can be shared with friends on social media. This will make your custom playlists now stand out as cover art will be unique to your liking.
