Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Now Available on iOS and Android

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is now available to download and play across iOS and Android. The Pokémon Company launched its mobile version of The Card Game (TCG), enabling players to open packs, collect virtual cards, and battle.
Following its reveal earlier this year, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is now available to install for free via the App Store and Google Play. Offering a fresh take on Pokémon‘s TCG, players can build their decks with their favourite cards by opening new booster packs. The process fringes on the haptic feedback your device gives when opening the top of each pack, making it a satisfying experience each time.
Each day, players can open up two booster packs free of charge. Every booster pack has a randomized collection of cards available to add to their collection. In addition, players can use Wonder Picks to randomly select a single card from packs opened by other players worldwide.
In Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, your card collection is the focal point. The game features many nostalgic illustrations across each card’s design (including the original Pikachu design). Additionally, there are new pieces of artwork found in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, exclusive to the game. Some cards feature special effects like parallax effects, adding an immersive depth to the card’s design. Within your collection, you can move and look at the front and back of each card.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is also a very social game. You can add friends to the game using the Friend ID system. Once you reach level 3, the Battle menu is unlocked, letting you enjoy quick single-player and multiplayer battles. Battling in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket includes several approachable systems such as automatic battles, and auto deck builds.
Finally, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will offer a trading system so you and your friends can trade unwanted cards. However, the feature is not available at launch. According to the game, trading is “coming soon” and will be “available in a future update”.
