Next-Gen HomePod 3 Said to Feature 7-inch OLED Display
Apple is reportedly working on a third-generation HomePod that will incorporate a 6- to 7-inch OLED display, signaling a major evolution in its smart home product lineup.

This information comes from a report by SE Daily (via MacRumors), a Korean outlet citing industry sources, which also suggests that Chinese manufacturer Tianma will supply the OLED panels.
Previous HomePod models relied on audio-first capabilities with limited interaction through a small touch interface. The new display will likely offer more extensive controls, visual feedback, and integration with other Apple services.
Tianma, a key player in the display manufacturing space, is expected to produce these OLED panels. The company ranks among China’s top display suppliers and has previously focused on mid-tier panels. Apple’s decision to partner with Tianma could mark the latter’s entry into higher-end consumer electronics displays.
This isn’t the first time rumours have suggested Apple is venturing into smart home devices with displays. Renowned analyst Mark Gurman has previously mentioned that Apple is exploring multiple HomePod variants, including one with an iPad-like screen and camera for video conferencing and another mounted on a robotic arm for dynamic interaction.
These advanced models are expected to launch in or after 2025. In contrast, this upcoming OLED-equipped HomePod is projected to release earlier, with some reports suggesting a 2024 launch.

Recent speculation also points to Apple developing a new home management hub with a square display, thick bezels, and a base reminiscent of the iconic iMac G4.
