Roku has reached a new milestone, giving Canadian viewers access to over 150 free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels on The Roku Channel.

Starting today, new channels featuring shows like Heartland, Wicked Tuna, and The Graham Norton Show have been added.

“The variety you can now find on The Roku Channel in Canada is a big reason we’re proud of this FAST milestone,” said Jennifer Vaux, Vice President of Content Acquisition & Programming at Roku Media, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “Having more than 150 linear channels reflects our ongoing commitment to a curated, entertaining experience for Canadian audiences.”

The lineup includes popular Canadian channels such as Corner Gas Channel, CTV @ Home, and CTV Laughs, alongside international options like The Ed Sullivan Show. Roku also announced that new CBC News channels for Manitoba, Quebec, and Nova Scotia will be launching soon, joining existing channels for BC, Toronto, and the national news feed.

The Roku Channel is available exclusively on Roku streaming devices and TVs in Canada, offering free and premium entertainment, including original shows. Again, these ad-supported channels are to encourage customers to retain and stick to Roku devices and TVs.
