Apple has officially launched iOS 18.3 Beta 1 for developers, which brings minor refinements, including visual improvements and usability tweaks, particularly to the Camera Control interface.
One of the most notable visual updates in iOS 18.3 beta 1 is the enhancement of Camera Control icons in Dark Mode. Previously, some icons lacked consistency when transitioning between light and dark themes. With this update, Apple has ensured that these icons seamlessly adapt to Dark Mode.
Apple is also moving forward carefully with its Apple Intelligence suite, which aims to integrate AI-driven features across the iOS ecosystem.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s deliberate pace of rolling out Apple Intelligence is now affecting the timeline for certain features. Gurman notes that some capabilities initially slated for iOS 19 may face delays as Apple focuses on fine-tuning existing functionality to avoid performance issues.
