New Programming Lineup Announced for Apple Fitness+ and Strava Integrations

Apple has announced its biggest lineup of programming for Apple Fitness+ as 2025 begins. Starting on Monday, January 6th, Apple Fitness+ will get brand new workout programs, meditation options, and Strava integrations to use.
As announced by the company, Apple Fitness+ will soon introduce a progressive strength training program. The program itself is said to have a three-week duration and will target various muscle groups in the body. Every major muscle group will be covered in 12 workouts lasting around 30 minutes. This new program is designed to be repeated. Users can re-do the program and add weight to make it more intensive. The first week focuses on progressive load whereas the following week focuses on time under tension. The final week focuses on dynamic power.
There’s also a pickleball program being added to Apple Fitness+. The new program is designed to focus on strength, endurance and agility. Users will endure a mix of all three during the offered exercises. The program features pickleball champion Catherine Paranteau, who ranks No. 1 in singles and doubles. The program includes exercises from Parenteau’s own training routine.
Yoga Peak Poses and new Breath Meditation programs are also being incorporated. Starting next week, Apple Fitness+ subscribers can take part in a workshop-style session that highlights single yoga poses to help build the user’s confidence and skill. Each features a 10-minute prep flow and 10-minute practice. Breath Meditation focuses on simple meditation techniques to illicit focus, increase energy and decrease stress. There will be five 10-minute meditations to choose from.
Apple is also adding Strava integrations into Apple Fitness+. Users can soon share an Apple Fitness+ workout to the Strava app. This will display details such as episode image, number, trainer name, and metrics. Strava athletes are also joining the Apple Fitness+ trainer stream as special guests in 2025. New and existing Strava members can redeem up to three months of Apple Fitness+ for free.
Finally, Apple Fitness+ will be rolling out new episodes of Time to Walk. Starting on January 13th, episodes featuring Adam Scott, Steve Aoki, Lana Condor, Tiffany Haddish, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Maddie Ziegler will be added. New artist spotlight workout playlists will continue to be added featuring Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar.
Apple Fitness+ is available in Canada for $10.99 per month.
