You Can Now Apply for Apple’s Swift Student Challenge

Apple has officially launched applications for its annual Swift Student Challenge, giving students three weeks to submit their projects.
The challenge is designed to support young developers, creators, and entrepreneurs, providing them with a platform to showcase their coding skills. Participants will create app playgrounds—interactive coding projects that can be experienced in three minutes on a topic of their choice.
Apple says 350 winners (set to be announced at this year’s WWDC) will be selected based on innovation, creativity, social impact, and inclusivity. Among them, 50 Distinguished Winners will receive a special invitation to the company’s Apple Park headquarters in Cupertino, for a special three-day experience.
All winners will also get:
- One year of Apple Developer Program membership
- A free App Development with Swift certification exam voucher
- A special gift from Apple
Students can find eligibility details and coding resources, like Swift Playgrounds and Xcode, on Apple’s website. Those interested can also join Today at Apple sessions for additional guidance. Applications are open now through February 23, 2024.
