Google Introduces New Chat Recall Feature in Gemini Advanced
Google has introduced a major new feature to its Gemini Advanced AI assistant, which allows it to recall past conversations and provide more personalized responses.

This new feature enhances user interactions by allowing Gemini to remember context from previous chats, making it easier to continue discussions, summarize past conversations, and assist with ongoing projects without repetition.
The new chat recall capability allows Gemini Advanced users to:
- Retrieve Summaries of Previous Conversations: Users can ask Gemini to recap past discussions, saving time and effort in revisiting key details.
- Continue Ongoing Projects: Instead of starting from scratch, Gemini can integrate prior exchanges into new responses, streamlining long-term tasks.
- Answer Follow-Up Questions More Effectively: By referencing past chats, Gemini can provide more accurate and context-aware answers.
With this enhancement, Google aims to bring Gemini Advanced closer in functionality to other AI assistants like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which already offers memory capabilities.
The chat recall feature is currently rolling out in English for Gemini Advanced subscribers through the Google One AI Premium Plan. The update is available on both web and mobile versions of the Gemini app.
Google also plans to expand the feature to additional languages and introduce it to Google Workspace Business and Enterprise users in the near future.

Gemini Advanced is part of the Google One AI Premium Plan, which offers subscribers access to Google’s most advanced AI models across various services, including Gmail and Google Docs.
In addition to the upgraded AI capabilities, the plan provides users with 2TB of cloud storage and other exclusive benefits.

Gemini, formerly Bard, is a complete failure. Google can't even get Gmail right, and in Google Maps, your favorites are useless without a data connection—and even then, finding them is a struggle, especially if you have many. Google Photos is a joke. The only things Google still does well are satellite data, Street View, ads, and traffic data.
Boils down to Prachi the CEO…
Quality. Hmm. I don't think he's playing that game.
Gemni.
The Google Assistant to Gemini migration.
Just terrible.
I asked Gemini, "Are there any AutoZone in Canada?" And the reply, right in Google Search:
