Drop Test: Galaxy S25 Ultra vs. iPhone 16 Pro Max [VIDEO]

The folks over at PhoneBuff have conducted a new drop test to evaluate the durability of two flagship smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Galaxy S25 Ultra vs iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The signature drop test involved subjecting both devices to a series of controlled drops from varying heights onto different surfaces, including concrete and tile. The drops were designed to impact various parts of the phones, such as the back, corners, and screens, to provide a comprehensive assessment of their structural integrity.

Here are the results:

  • Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: The device exhibited minor cosmetic damage, such as scuffs and scratches, particularly on the frame and back panel. However, the screen remained intact and fully functional throughout the tests.
  • Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max: Similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the iPhone sustained superficial damage, including minor dents and scratches on its exterior. Notably, the screen also withstood the drops without cracking and continued to operate without issues.

Both the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the iPhone 16 Pro Max demonstrated robust build quality, withstanding multiple drops with only minor cosmetic damages and no impact on functionality.
