iPhone 16e Preorders Now Available in Canada, Starting at $899

Today, the preorders for iPhone 16e are available. In Canada, the new mid-range iPhone 16e is available with a starting price of $899.
This week, Apple announced the new iPhone 16e. It’s best described as the successor to the iPhone SE 3 but also the entryway into the iPhone 16 series. As a noticeable upgrade from the iPhone SE 3, Apple has taken a lot of liberties to modernize the entry-level smartphone. The iPhone 16e is also the cheapest way to gain access to Apple Intelligence if that’s something you’re keen on.
The iPhone 16e supports a 6.1-inch OLED display and also drops the Home button. Instead, it’s largely based on the iPhone 14 design, with a Dynamic Island to boot. On the rear, you’ll find a 48-megapixel 2-in-1 camera system, offering the use of a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. It’s powered by Apple’s A18 chipset, giving way to Apple Intelligence features. It also introduces the C1 modem for better 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, the iPhone 16e does not support MagSafe charging.
Preorders for the iPhone 16e officially opened today at 8 AM ET/ 5 AM PT. Here’s the pricing information you need to know:
Apple is also offering 24-month financing at zero percent. This averages out to $37.46 at a bare minimum if you don’t want to purchase the device outright.
The iPhone 16e officially ships on Friday, February 28th. So, you have plenty of time to consider whether the iPhone 16e is for you or if you’d prefer to purchase an iPhone 16, which starts at $1,129.
