How to Turn a Live Photo into Video on Your iPhone

Apple has shared a new YouTube support video detailing how you can select a Live Photo in your Albums on an iPhone or iPad, and turn it into a video to save or share.

Simply follow the steps below to convert any Live Photo into a video on your iOS device.

1. In the Photos app, go to the Albums section.
2. Scroll down to find Media Types, and then tap Live Photos.
3. Tap to select a Live Photo.
4. Tap the More button (three dots) in the upper-right corner and select Save as Video.
5. Find your new video in the Recents album. The Live Photo will remain accessible in the Live Photos album

Note: If you’re inside an album when you tap the Albums tab, tap Albums in the upper-left corner to go to the main Albums screen.
