Apple Promo: Extra Trade-In Credit for Macs for Limited Time

Apple Canada is offering extra trade-in credit for users looking to upgrade to a new Mac, but the deal is only available until April 2, 2025.

Customers who trade in an eligible Mac and purchase a new Apple device can receive additional credit, making it a great time to swap an older Mac for the latest model. Just be aware that new M4 MacBook Airs are around the corner and could be announced this week, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

The Apple Trade In program allows users to trade in their devices online or at an Apple Store. If a device isn’t eligible for credit, Apple will recycle it for free

Customers can use their trade-in credit immediately toward a new purchase or opt for an Apple Gift Card to use later on Apple products and services. The exact trade-in value will depend on the model and condition of the device.

Of course, the trade-in values are far less than selling your Mac privately via online classifieds such as Facebook Marketplace. These trade-in programs are targeting those that can’t be bothered to meet up in a sketchy dark alley at night (with weirdos at times).
