iPhone 17 Lineup: First Look at Apple’s Radical Redesign [VIDEO]

Apple is set to shake things up this year with the iPhone 17, bringing its first major design overhaul in years and a new ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air.

Iphone 17 lineup hands on.

The folks over at YouTube channel iDeviceHelp have shared a new video, that offers an exclusive first hands-on look at the iPhone 17 llineup using detailed 3D-printed dummy units.

This year’s iPhone  lineup is expected to include four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The most striking change comes in the form of the iPhone 17 Air, replacing the Plus model. Meanwhile, the Pro versions will see a more pronounced camera module and a slightly thicker build to accommodate better battery life.

The standard iPhone 17 will retain a similar look to its predecessor, the iPhone 16, but with hardware refinements. It will feature the Apple A19 chip for better speed and efficiency, an improved camera system, and a C1 modem, expected to enhance battery life and connectivity.

Meanehile, the all-new iPhone 17 Air is expected to be exceptionally thin, measuring just 0.22 inches in thickness, making it the slimmest iPhone ever. The ultra-thin profile presents some interesting design changes, including a single-lens camera system reminiscent of Google’s Pixel phones.

While wireless charging will still be available, the reduced thickness raises questions about whether MagSafe will make the cut. The iPhone 17 Air is being positioned as a stylish, lightweight alternative for users who prioritize portability over having the most powerful specs.

Lastly, the iPhone 17 Pro models will feature a more substantial camera module that almost dominates the back panel. The thickness will also increase slightly from 0.32 inches to 0.34 inches, likely allowing for a larger battery.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 in September 2025. Until that happens, check out the following video to get a rough idea of how these devices might look and share your thoughts with us in the comments section.

Apple should eliminated that UGLY notch (& Dynamic Island), as NO other smart phone company has it! They have “pin-holes”, so should Apple! Also, introduce 120HZ refresh rates, use 6.3” sceen size in basic IPhone, instead of the 6.1 “ size.
Since many users use wired headphones, bring back the EARPHONE jack on the next IPhone 17e…!..?

I hope the US tariffs on China will not be put on Canadians as well. We don’t have tariffs on Chinese electronics.
