Get Free Paramount+ When You Buy Candy at the Dollar Store

Canadians can now get a sweet streaming deal with their candy. A new promotion from Mars Canada offers a free 30-day Paramount+ trial with the purchase of participating Mars-Wrigley products—even from your local dollar store (where candy is much cheaper than grocery stores).

The offer runs from May 1 to August 31, 2025. To redeem, shoppers simply need to buy one eligible product like M&M’S, Maltesers, Skittles, Starburst, Mars, Snickers, Twix, Bounty, Excel or Juicy Fruit, and upload a photo of their receipt to marscontest.ca.

Once your first entry is accepted, you’ll receive a promo code for 30 days of Paramount+ Standard (worth $10.99 plus tax). The code applies to new subscribers only and must be used by September 1, 2025. After the trial ends, the subscription will auto-renew at the regular rate unless cancelled. So that means when you accept the offer, you’ll need to provide your credit card. Just make sure to remember to cancel before the trial is over so you don’t get charged.

Some epic shows on Paramount+ right now include Mobland, Landman and Lioness for example, so getting the free trial just to binge on these will be worth it.

In addition to the free streaming trial, each successful entry also enters you into a contest for 1 of 10 epic movie prize packs. Each prize, valued at approximately $1,500, includes a 55-inch Smart TV, soundbar speaker, popcorn maker, a Paramount merch bundle, a 12-month Paramount+ subscription, and up to $100 worth of Mars-Wrigley products. Winners will be selected in a random draw on September 5, 2025.

The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are the age of majority in their province or territory. No purchase is necessary to enter—those without a receipt can request a special code online to participate.

Essentially, all you have to do is hit up your local dollar store and buy candy for like $1 or so, and you can get 30 days of Paramount+, which is far cheaper than paying the $10.99 per month price for a Standard plan, if you’re a new subscriber.
