Toronto Games Week (TGW) 2025 is returning to the big city in June. Running from June 12 to June 17, the week-long celebration of game developement hosts many events and networking opprotunities.
After two successful years, Toronto Games Week 2025 is being held once again. The event is best described as a collective collaboration between dozens of organizations, curators, companies, creators, and communities. Ahead of the week-long event beginning, the full Toronto Games Week 2025 schedule has been published. Attendees and curious goers can expect some surprising events to be held across the city at different venues, each with its own focus on the industry.
Toronto Games Week 2025 begins on June 12th with the official ‘Giant Video Games & TGW Kickoff’ event at 8PM ET. Held down at the waterfront (9 Eireann Quay), attendees will have a chance to experience a massive playable projection of Toronto-related games on the historic Canada Malting Silos.
Running in conjunction with Toronto Games Week 2025 is the XP Game Summit. Once again returning to the city, XP Game Summit invites developers, publishers, and other industry professionals to network and sit in a bevy of panels. This year, over 100 speakers will be in attendance, sharing their insights on the games industry. XP Game Summit is being held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on June 12 and 13.
Saturday, June 14th, Toronto Games Week 2025 includes Pixel PowerPlay. This Day of the Devs-style industry event invites developers to show off their upcoming titles to media and content creators. Developers will be in attendance to highlight demos of their games in person at Red Bull Canada (99 Atlantic Ave. Unit 200). In partnership with A Gaming Network and Toronto Community Meetup Powered By Twitch, Pixel PowerPlay will also host a live stream on Twitch to showcase many of the games featured at the show.
Looking towards Monday, June 16, Invictus Game Station (558 Yonge St.) is hosting an in-person 6v6 Marvel Rivals tournament. At the ‘Team Up Activated’ event, attendees get the chance to network and win some prizes while competing.
Toronto Games Week 2025 then concludes on Tuesday, June 17. As the week closes, all those interested are invited to come out to Trintity Square Video (401 Richmond St. W #121) to enjoy music, drinks, and check out the last day of the week-long installation of OMNIVOX, a cube featuring with 4,096 fully addressable LED.
