Canadians Can Now Earn PC Optimum Points on DoorDash Orders
DoorDash has teamed up with Loblaw’s PC Optimum program, allowing Canadians to earn loyalty points not just on groceries and pharmacy runs, but also on meals from their favourite restaurants.

Starting today, anyone who links their PC Optimum account to DoorDash will begin earning points on eligible purchases. Whether it’s a grocery top-up, snacks, personal care products, or takeout from local eateries, users will now collect 5 PC Optimum points per dollar spent. Even better, there’s a launch offer that doubles that reward to 10 points per dollar for the first three months.
With more than 18 million members across the country, PC Optimum has long been central to Loblaw’s retail strategy, covering stores like Real Canadian Superstore, Shoppers Drug Mart, No Frills, and more. Adding DoorDash into the mix means Canadians can now earn points from their couch.
To celebrate the rollout, DoorDash and PC Optimum are offering exclusive welcome bonuses for a limited time:
- New DoorDash users who link their PC Optimum account and place three orders over $20 can score 25,000 points, with the largest chunk—15,000 points—awarded after the first purchase.
- Existing DoorDash users can also benefit. They’ll earn 5,000 points when they link their loyalty account and complete an eligible order of at least $20 before July 16, 2025.
These bonuses come on top of the regular points-earning structure, giving new and current users a strong incentive to participate early.
Connecting the two programs takes just a few taps within the DoorDash app or website. Once linked, users automatically earn points when shopping from Loblaw-affiliated brands or ordering from restaurants on the platform. The only major exclusion is alcohol purchases, which won’t earn points.

For PC Optimum, the integration offers a way to extend engagement outside of brick-and-mortar stores. For DoorDash, it deepens ties with one of Canada’s most trusted retail giants, following their previous collaboration on PC Express Rapid Delivery.
