New Google Pixel 10 Ad Pokes Fun at Apple’s iOS 26 [VIDEO]
Google has rolled out its latest “Best Phones Forever” ad, cheekily poking at Apple’s upcoming iOS 26 features, while dropping the first teaser for its next-generation Pixel 10 smartphone.

The ad unfolds as a lighthearted conversation between a Pixel (likely Pixel 9 Pro) and an iPhone (expected iPhone 16 Pro). The iPhone lists snazzy new features coming in iOS 26 like Live Translation in Messages, Hold Assist, and Call Screening, only to be reminded by Pixel that these innovations originated on Pixel phones years ago.
“What are the chances?” the iPhone quips, but Pixel’s grin hints at the real message: Google invented them first.
The playful roast ends with the iPhone asking, “So what’s Pixel working on for the Pixel 10?” The Pixel freezes, and the screen briefly shows the Pixel 9 Pro, hinting at the next-generation Pixel. It’s a sly first glimpse rather than a hard launch, delivering just enough intrigue to signal that Google is preparing the stage.
Google is also debuting the ad in cinemas before major summer blockbusters, showing the duo’s banter while urging audiences to switch off their phones, a clever pointer to its growing marketing footprint.
Rumors suggest Google may host a preview event for “pre-release Pixel devices” on June 27 for Pixel Superfans in the UK, possibly previewing Pixel 10. That timing hints at a July launch, ahead of the usual late August rollout, an earlier push that might help Google maintain momentum before Apple’s fall unveiling.
