Apple’s 13-inch M3 MacBook Air Hits Clearance Pricing at Costco
If you’re on the hunt for a new M3 MacBook Air, check out your local Costco warehouse because the laptop has reached clearance pricing (denoted by a price ending in .97 for those who don’t know).
Apple’s 13.6-inch M3 MacBook Air with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD has been slashed down to $999.97. This price is cheaper than refurbished M3 MacBook Airs
For comparison’s sake, the newest M4 MacBook Air starts from $1,399 with the same RAM/SSD configuration. So this is a $400 difference, which shouldn’t be a deal breaker for the average person when it comes to comparing M3 versus M4.
Apple also has refurbished M4 MacBook Airs online for $1,189 right now. Apple Education pricing for an M4 MacBook Air is $1,249 and right now includes free accessories like AirPods.
The M4 MacBook Air offers about 15–20% faster CPU performance and improved energy efficiency compared to the M3 MacBook Air, thanks to its newer 3nm architecture and enhanced Neural Engine. It also supports up to two external displays (with the lid closed) and includes better AI acceleration, but the overall design and display remain the same.
To save time before heading to the zoo known as your local Costco warehouse, give them a call and ask if item number 5350108 is in stock or not. The M3 MacBook Air was spotted at this clearance pricing at the Peterborough warehouse in Ontario, according to RFD.
Happy deal hunting. Let us know if your local Costco has this M3 MacBook Air in stock or not at clearance pricing.

Yesterday Apple refurb had M2 MacBook airs for $899! Unfortunately they went very quickly!
Good deal. The M3 is also 3nm, like the M4. It was Apple’s first 3nm computer chip.
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for them to carry the M4 Studio.
