iOS 26 Public Beta Release Date Incoming—Here’s the Latest Scoop

Apple said during its WWDC keynote that its Public Beta releases for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, tvOS 26, HomePod software 26, watchOS 26, and AirPods Firmware were set to debut in July.
Well, July is far from over so that timeline could be at any moment. Yesterday, many expected Apple to drop fourth betas of its latest software, but that didn’t happen. Many also expected Public Betas yesterday as well.
But now, we have more details on the release date for iOS 26 and more. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman just moments ago, he says Public Betas can be expected “around the 23rd” of July. That’s next Wednesday or so, which could be one day after developer betas are released.
Public Betas allow any Apple customer to test its latest software early, similar to what developers have access to. That means getting hands on with relatively stable beta builds, so you can be experience Liquid Glass.
