SpongeBob Pops Up in Apple Arcade Games with Summer Events

Apple Arcade is rolling out new summer updates featuring SpongeBob SquarePants across several of its games.

Starting this month, players can find limited-time SpongeBob-themed content in Snake.io+, Crossy Road Castle, and SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit. The crossover adds characters and levels inspired by the long-running Nickelodeon cartoon.

In Snake.io+, players can unlock skins of SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, and Plankton by completing missions. The event runs until August 25.

Meanwhile, Crossy Road Castle is getting a Bikini Bottom makeover with 40 themed levels. The “Krabby Patty Kollectathon” starts July 21, followed by a second event, “Jellyfish Jam,” from August 4 to 17. Characters include SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Sandy.

Finally, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit has added an endless mode. In this version, players face increasingly tough levels with no checkpoints or extra lives, all while trying to top the leaderboard.
