Apple TV+ and MLB Announce ‘Friday Night Baseball’ September Schedule

Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB) have confirmed the full schedule for Friday Night Baseball this September, with a new round of doubleheaders streaming live each week on Apple TV+.

The lineup opens on September 5 with a daytime showdown between the Washington Nationals and the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, followed by a primetime game featuring the Milwaukee Brewers taking on the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The following week delivers one of the sport’s most storied rivalries as the New York Yankees visit the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. That same evening, the Los Angeles Angels will face the Seattle Mariners in a key matchup on the West Coast.

Later in the month, Toronto heads to Kansas City for a battle with the Royals, while the San Francisco Giants face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers in what is expected to be one of the most-watched games of the series. That meeting is particularly noteworthy as Shohei Ohtani returns to Dodger Stadium as a key part of the reigning World Series champions.
