Apple Music and Apple One Monthly Prices Just Went Up in Canada
Apple’s price increases keep coming, and this time subscription prices have gone up, and they also apply to Canada.
Starting with Apple Music, pricing have gone up by $1 and $3 depending on the plan:
- Student: $5.99/month (no change)
- Individual: $11.99 (was $10.99)
- Family: $19.99 (was $16.99)
“As a result of rising licensing costs, Apple Music is increasing its subscription price beginning today,” the company said to Music Business Worldwide, confirming the price increases.
That’s not the only price increase coming. Apple One subscriptions have also increased in price, which comes after the last price hike in fall of 2023:
- Individual: $22.95 (no change)
- Family: $30.95 (was $28.95)
- Premier: $46.95 (was $44.95)
Apple recently had to increase prices on iMac, iPad, Apple TV and more, due to memory component shortages. You can expect iPhone and Apple Watch prices to likely increase this fall when new products debut. Someone has to pay for the new Siri AI features, right?
What do you think about these price increases?
