Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & 3 Go Free—Might Be a Glitch

In a strange twist, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 are currently showing up as free to claim on the Xbox Store.
Users have reported being able to download and install both titles without paying a cent, according to RFD.
The links to both games are live and accessible, but there’s no official word from Microsoft or Activision. Some suspect this could be a pricing bug, meaning the games may be pulled or revoked soon. That’s $80 worth of games (sale MSRP) but for free.
If you want to take the risk, now might be the time to grab them:
- Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Store (normally $35.99 on sale right now)
- Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Store (normally $45 on sale right now)

Sadly doesn’t work based on RFD discussion.

“Once downloaded and logged in and launched, all the game modes except the free DMZ is locked.”
I got mine to download, thanks for the heads-up! Fired it up just now, seems to run just fine.
AWESOME! 🙂
I just checked it out both said free, and I clicked on it! did not charge me anything!
