Telus Targets Public Mobile Users With Back-to-School Internet Deal

Public Mobile customers have started receiving some Telus internet deals today, sent via text message, according to iPhone in Canada readers.

The back-to-school promotion is for Telus PureFibre Internet 500. The promo drops the price to $85 per month (regularly $125) on a two-year term. Customers can use the promo code SCHOOLSAVINGS to claim the deal.

You get unlimited data, plus no $70 activation fee and you get a $50 bill credit. The deal appears to be only available for those in Alberta and B.C., but your mileage may vary. The offer can be redeemed online via the link in the text message or by calling 1-855-778-6054.

“Get ready to stream, study, connect and browse uninterrupted on Canada’s fastest internet technology,” says the text message from Telus.

Back in the spring, a similar Telus internet offer was sent to Public Mobile customers, but for a PureFibre Internet 250 deal.

Anyone going to jump on these internet offers from Telus?
