Beats Headphones to Get New Colors Ahead of iPhone 17 Launch

Apple-owned Beats appears to be preparing a splash of fresh style with new color editions across multiple product lines, including Studio Pro, Solo 4, and Solo Buds, ahead of the iPhone 17 launch event.

Recent code uncovered by MacRumors reveals ambitious updates for the Studio Pro over ear headphones, the Solo 4 on ear headphones, and the compact Solo Buds earbuds.

The Beats Studio Pro headphones are expected to gain two new finishes. Apple is calling them Dark Slate and Pink internally. These could align with earlier rumored shades known as Sand Gray and Soft Pink, offering subtle sophistication to the existing navy, black, sandstone, and brown palette.

Meanwhile, the Solo 4 headphones could see additions named Rose Gold and Champagne Gold. These metallic tones would join Matte Black, Slate Blue, Cloud Pink, and the limited edition Ruby Red created with BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim.

The Beats Solo Buds are set to include a new light shade called ‘icing,’ that resembles a creamy beige. The Solo Buds currently range across Black, Storm Gray, Arctic Purple, and Transparent Red. The new softer hue would expand options for users who find bolder palettes less appealing.

Reports suggest Apple may unveil these new color options before or during its highly anticipated iPhone 17 launch event on Tuesday, September 9, using fresh visuals to complement the hardware reveal.
