Sonos Promo Doubles Upgrade Program Savings to 30% Off

sonos upgrade program

If you were thinking of upgrading your existing Sonos device, the company’s upgrade program is now offering up to double the discount, as part of a limited time promo.

After you sign into your Sonos account online, the company’s website says, “the Sonos Upgrade Program makes it easy for you to expand your system and enjoy an even better listening experience with savings of up to 30% on a new speaker, soundbar, component, or set.”

From September 15 to 22, 2025, customers who trade in eligible products—including models like the Arc, Roam, Sub (Gen 1–3), Move, Beam Gen 1, One, One SL, Play:1, Play:3, Play:5 Gen 2, Playbar, Playbase, Bridge, and certain Connect or Connect:Amp units—will receive 30% off one regular-priced product or set on sonos.com. After the promotion ends, the discount reverts back to the standard 15%.

Your eligible products will show an upgrade of 15%, but at checkout it goes to 30%. The new max 30% discount is showing in Canada, but some are saying it’s not reflected at checkout.

Now, why the promo? It’s because Sonos pricing on its website has increased due to tariffs (they previously warned this was coming).

Click here to sign into the Sonos website and let us know what discounts you’re seeing right now as part of the upgrade program.

Strategic of them to do this now, far after
any new products and with no new products imminent.

Yea pretty sure this is not new.. all my new upgrade devices are 15% but some older legacy upgrades were always 30% could just be users not noticing where the credit is coming from and most like have unused older device upgrade credits.
