Telus-owned Public Mobile has revamped its plans and also brought back its $10 referral bonus for a limited time.
Starting today until September 30, Public Mobile says you and your friend can get a $10 bonus credit when you refer a friend that subscribes to a $35/month plan. You can only refer up to 5 friends during the bonus referral period.
Below are Public Mobile’s revamped plans, which have gotten worse since late summer, especially its 4G offerings.
4G Speed
Compared to back to school deals in late summer, the $20 plan now loses 1GB data, while the $25 plan also loses 1GB as well, down to 3GB (was 4GB). The $30/6GB previously was $35/10GB.
5G Speed
We now have a $35/15GB plan, a $40/30GB Canada-US plan, while the 60GB plan sees a $5 increase to $45. The $50/80GB plan has remained the same.
