Bad Bunny to Perform at the Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show

Bad Bunny has been officially named the performer for next year’s Super Bowl XL Apple Music halftime show. The news was broken this past weekend during NBC’s broadcasting of the Sunday Night Football match between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
Over on X (formerly Twitter), Bad Bunny himself, Benito Antonio, shared the news. “Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026,” the artist wrote in a post. Accompanying the text is a video of the artist sitting on a goal post. Apple Music also published a post stating Bad Bunny would be “bringing Puerto Rico to the world’s biggest stage.”
Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican artist with many notable tracks under his belt. As the most-streamed artist in the world, Bad Bunny’s discography includes songs like Yo Perreo Sola, La Romana, and Safaera. The artist has three Grammy wins, for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album for YHLQMDLG, as well as Best Musica Urbana Album for both El Último Tour Del Mundo and Un Verano Sin Ti.
The 60th Super Bowl game will be played at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The announcement of Bad Bunny’s involvement as a performer comes unusually early. Typically, the artist to headline the halftime show is announced closer to the big game.
This year, rapper Kendrick Lamar blew audiences away with his performance. The artist brought out SZA and Serena Williams as part of the performance. Other notable performers include Coldplay, Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, U2 and Prince.
The Super Bowl halftime show is historically the most-watched live performance of the year, bringing in millions of global viewers.
