Peloton Announces New Cross Training Series, Launching 5 New Devices

Peloton has announced a major refresh to its device lineup. As the company introduces a brand new cross-training series, five new devices are entering the fray. Additionally, Peloton IQ has been unveiled.
Peloton is refreshing its entire product lineup with the advent of the Peloton Cross Training Series. Launching 5 new devices, the company is bringing its Cross Training Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, and Row+ devices to the market. Each device is said to sport an advanced Swivel Screen to make it easy to swap between cardio, strength, yoga, pilates, and barre workouts.
Across the five devices, Peloton is delivering a built-in Movement Tracking Camera for personalized guidance when doing strength workouts. Users will get feedback on their form, rep tracking data, and suggestions on weight. In addition, the new devices feature the first-ever speakers on a Peloton product to sport a woofer, tuned by Sonos. These speakers are said to offer clearer sound, deeper bass, and studio-like immersion.
Other notable perks include hands-free control via “Ok Peloton.” This way, users can adjust weights, skip moves or pause a workout with only their voice. Three-speed fans are integrated and sit atop the screen.
The Bike and Bike+ devices feature a brand new seat with improved cushioning. The latter also features the Peloton Phone Tray, which attatches to the handlebars, fitting most smartphones or tablets.
The entire Peloton Cross Training Series is available now in Canada. The most entry-level device is the standard Bike, which is available for $2,195. From October 1 until October 29, current Peloton All-Access, paid App+, paid App One, or Strength+ Members can get up to $1200 off on the new Cross Training Series.
To coincide with the Peloton Cross Training Series launch, the company is introducing Peloton IQ. This AI-powered feature provides dynamic and personalized coaching to help users achieve their goals. Across all Peloton connected fitness devices, Peloton IQ provides real-time feedback. This can be anything from correcting form to helping users lift weights safely.
The company’s Plus series, which includes Bike+, Tread+, and Row+, introduces Self-Paced Strength and Workout Generator features. With these, users can create custom workouts and take part in on-demand classes while still receiving feedback on form.
Peloton IQ is able to take data like workout history and class performance from Garmin Connect, Fitbit, and Apple Health devices.
