How to Save on Xbox Game Pass in Canada Even After the Price Hike
Xbox Game Pass prices in Canada quietly jumped last week as Microsoft restructured its subscription service into three new tiers — Essential, Premium, and Ultimate — with Ultimate seeing the steepest increase.
The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan now costs $33.99 CAD per month, up from $22.99. That’s a $10 jump just one year after the last increase from $18.99. The new plan includes access to more than 400 games across console, PC, and cloud, over 75 day-one titles each year, plus Fortnite Crew starting November 18 and Ubisoft+ Classics.
While the new features may sound tempting, many players say it’s not worth it at the higher monthly price. Fortunately, there’s still a cheaper option. Costco.ca is offering a 6-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate digital code for $124.99, which works out to roughly $21 a month—well below Microsoft’s current price. The offer is listed as “2 x Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 3 Month – Digital Download” (Item #5210458).
Subscribers can stack up to 36 months of Game Pass codes on top of their existing subscription, meaning you can lock in the lower rate for up to three years, if you’re still eager to stay subscribed.
For now, this Costco deal is the best way for Canadians to keep their Game Pass subscriptions active without paying the new full price, but it will take an upfront commitment to jump on these digital codes.

I use core. Screw them, greedy bastards.
This isn’t saving anyone money if we can’t afford 30$ a month what makes you think we can afford to go and spend over 120$ ? It’s is the work boots issue all over again…..
