Six-Episode ‘Eras Tour’ Documentary and Concert Film Debuting on Disney+ in December

A six-part documentary series about Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ is coming to Disney+ this winter. Announced by the artist and Disney, the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era docuseries will premiere on the streamer on December 12.

“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” Swift wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Additionally, a concert film dubbed Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show will debut. The concert film was produced and shot at the tour’s finale in Vancouver, B.C.

The artist also shared a short trailer to tease the docuseries, which can be seen below.

“We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

The docuseries offers a peek behind the curtain as the renowned artist travelled as part of her record-breaking Eras Tour. The docuseries includes appearances by tour opening acts Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter. Guests Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch also make an appearance.

The first two episodes of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era premiere on Friday, December 12. Then, Disney+ will release two episodes at a time each Friday following.

Coinciding with the release of the first two episodes of the docuseries, Disney+ subscribers can tune in for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show. The concert film offers the chance to see material added from Tortured Poets Department. The album was not released or included when the original Eras Tour concert film hit theatres (and eventually Disney+).

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era is directed by Don Argott with Sheena M. Joyce attached as co-director. Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show is directed by Glenn Weiss with Taylor Swift acting as producer.
