WestJet and Telus Link Rewards—Get Free Seat Selection and Roaming Perks

WestJet and Telus are linking their loyalty programs, allowing Canadians to earn and redeem points across both companies. So if you’re paying your phone bill or booking a flight, now you get perks all-in-one.

Starting today, customers who connect their WestJet and Telus accounts can now earn WestJet points on their Telus bills, use those points toward Telus services, and even convert Telus Rewards into WestJet points to book flights, vacations, and more through the new WestJet Rewards eStore.

Those linking accounts will also get free WestJet seat selection vouchers and Telus roaming passes. To sweeten the deal, anyone who connects before November 30, 2025, will be entered to win an all-inclusive WestJet trip for two to Mexico.

“Together, WestJet and Telus are showing what’s possible when Canadian companies come together to put members first,” said Steve McClelland, WestJet’s vice-president of loyalty and strategic partnerships.

Telus executive Zainul Mawji said to iPhone in Canada the move combines “Telus’ leadership in connectivity with WestJet’s excellence in travel,” letting customers turn everyday bills into “memorable travel experiences.”

The partnership follows both companies’ recent overhauls of their rewards programs earlier this year—Telus added a tier-based rewards system tied to customer loyalty, while WestJet expanded how members can earn and redeem points.

WestJet already partners with Telus on its in-flight Wi-Fi (powered by Starlink), which offers high-speed internet on more than 100 planes. The airline says all of its narrow-body aircraft will feature the upgraded, free Wi-Fi by the end of 2025.

Members can link their loyalty accounts at westjet.com/telusrewards or telus.com/my-rewards.
