Download ChatGPT Atlas for Mac – New AI Browser from OpenAI
OpenAI has released ChatGPT Atlas, a new browser for macOS designed to work directly with ChatGPT accounts.
After downloading the app, users can drag the Atlas icon into their Applications folder, log in with their ChatGPT account, and import data from another browser — including passwords, bookmarks, and browsing history.
Atlas also asks users whether they want to enable browser memories, which can help ChatGPT remember information over time.
Once setup is complete, users can choose to make ChatGPT their default browser. OpenAI says doing so gives people “boosted limits” for seven days, though terms apply.
The company says Atlas aims to make ChatGPT more tightly integrated into everyday web use, offering a mix of browsing and AI assistance in one app.
For now, Atlas is only available on macOS and Agent mode is available in preview for Plus, Pro, and Business users.
