Telus Just Launched a 24/7 VIP Line for Tech Support and Secret Offers

Telus has launched a new customer support channel on Reddit, offering 24/7 access to its team of technicians and exclusive promotions for new customers. This comes at a time when customer service wait times have been increasing across ‘Big 3’ telecoms, but this Reddit service line seems to be available for those keen enough to know about it.

In a post on Tuesday on the official r/telus subreddit, the company said it can be reached “24/7 at re****@***us.com or by SMS anytime at (855) 645-3159.” The team described itself as being made up of “experienced Telus technicians dedicated to connecting Canadians with premium internet and cellular technology, backed by expert support and a customer-first approach.”

According to the post, those who contact the Reddit team can get “exclusive promotional pricing,” “priority support before, during, and after installation,” and “direct technician access.” Telus added that existing customers can still contact the company’s loyalty team “for personalized renewal offers.”

The Reddit team has already been active answering user questions about phones, internet upgrades, and upcoming Black Friday offers. One user asked about switching to a Google Pixel device, while others sought help with Wi-Fi hardware or billing issues.

Telus confirmed in replies that the Reddit group is made up entirely of internal employees and not third-party contractors. “Our Telus Reddit team is made up entirely of internal Telus technicians,” one representative wrote, adding they could provide proof of legitimacy in private messages.

The move marks a rare step for a major telecom provider to engage directly with customers on Reddit, positioning the platform as a hub for both troubleshooting and exclusive promotions. In the past, we’ve seen the Telus team active on Reddit, but this looks to be taking it up another level citing “Telus VIP service”. Last time I talked to these jokers, they just said they had good deals for brand new customers and didn't want to help me out as a loyal customer of many years.
